The Best 10 Ways to Make 100$ a Day

Many aspiring freelancers, side hustlers, and online money-making enthusiasts consider $100 a day a minimum income threshold when it comes to finding work that can generate a full-time income.

However, as a nearly 10-year veteran of the gig economy, I can tell you that it’s hard to consistently earn $100 a day, every day, from a single home-based job, online business or side hustle.

That’s why I recommend a simple strategy. Start with a simple goal: earn $10 a day. Then find 10 ways to consistently earn $10 a day. If you can do this, you can earn $100 a day, $3,000 a month, and $36,000 a year – the equivalent of a full-time income.

Here’s a 10-step example of how you can put this simple strategy into practice.

  1. Sell services on Fiverr: The freelancing platform is famous for its $5 gigs. (You can actually charge whatever price someone is willing to pay for your services). If you can do two quick $5 gigs a day, or even a bigger $10 gig, then you have your first $10.
  2. Take online surveys: Throughout my freelance career, I’ve regularly relied on paid surveys to supplement my income. Market research sites like InboxDollars and Swagbucks offer many surveys that make it easy to earn $10 a day.
  3. Do short tasks on Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk): I’ve earned thousands of dollars in extra income over the years by doing quick and easy tasks on MTurk. While many of these micro-jobs are low paying, most take very little time to complete. Therefore, it’s not at all difficult to earn $10 a day with MTurk.
  4. Do some mystery shopping: most secret shopper gigs don’t pay enough to make it a regular job. However, many times you can earn $10 quickly with a short retail assignment that usually only takes a few minutes. In addition to earning a fee, you will usually be reimbursed (up to a point) for your purchase.
  5. Participate in short focus group studies: as mentioned, I love market research gigs. In addition to paid surveys, you can also easily earn $10 by participating in a focus group. These short studies usually involve talking with a moderator and other members about a brand, product or service.
  6. Get paid to “judge” court cases: Lawyers want to know how potential jurors will view their case. So they often use virtual jurors via sites like eJury. Best of all, online case review typically pays more per gig than the other options on this list, which can help you reach your $100 daily income goal faster.
  7. License your photographs on photo websites: this is one of the many ways to generate passive income every day. The more photos you have for sale on sites like Getty Images, the more likely you are to earn at least $10 a day from your photographs.
  8. Moonlight as a virtual assistant: sites like Belay, Fancy Hands, and Magic VA Solutions offer many small gigs that allow you to earn $10 a day by doing quick administrative tasks remotely from home.
  9. Complete online transcription gigs: if you like to type and are really good at it, transcribing audio files is another easy way to earn $10 a day. In fact, my very first freelance gig was with TranscribeMe. GMR Transcription and Rev are a few other transcription sites that often hire online transcribers.
  10. Get paid to chat online: Finally, you can earn $10 a day by chatting with other users online. For example, dating sites and even platonic friend sites hire people to chat with their members. Typically, you get paid per message.

Now, I want to end this article with a warning. I’m not saying you have to do all 10 types of gigs every day to earn $100. These are just examples of how easy it is to earn $10 quickly. And they are easy to repeat on a daily basis. Chances are, you can reach your $100 daily income goal by doing just a handful of these gigs after you discover which ones are most lucrative for you.
